As part of the Greater Philadelphia Philosophy Consortium, Penn Philosophy welcomes Philosophy graduate students from Temple University and Villanova University to take courses at Penn and receive credit through their home institution.
To apply to be a visiting student for a semester:
- Identify a course you would like to take from our course offerings page
- Contact the instructor of the course to obtain permission to attend their class
- Carefully read the instructions on this application form: Greater Philadelphia Philosophy Consortium App.pdf
- Complete section A of the application form
- Contact the administrative contact at your home institution, listed on the last page of the application form, to complete sections B through E
- Submit the form to the administrative contact at Penn, listed on the last page of the application form
- Once your application is processed, and you have your Pennkey and Password access, you will need to sign in to Path@Penn to enroll in the course
Please complete this process as early as possible ahead of the start of the semester that you would like to attend as a visiting student through the Consortium.
