Political Philosophy

Ege Yumuşak

I work in the philosophy of mind, epistemology, and philosophy of language. I examine how the psychological interacts with the social. My forthcoming work takes up issues concerning interpersonal disagreement, the normativity of attention, and ideology.

Daniele Lorenzini

I came to Penn in 2022 from the University of Warwick, where I was an Associate Professor of Philosophy and the co-director of the Center for Research in Post-Kantian European Philosophy. Previously, I held postdoctoral and visiting positions at Columbia University, Sorbonne University, and the University of Saint-Louis in Brussels. In 2023-2024, I was a Humboldt Research Fellow at Freie Universität Berlin, working on a book project on the critical social philosophy of Frantz Fanon. I will be there again in Spring 2026.

Sabina Vaccarino Bremner

I came to Penn from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, where I was an Assistant Professor. My interests are both historical (Kant, as well as 19th-20th centuries) and thematic (issues in ethics, social critique, aesthetics, philosophy of science).
