B.A. in Philosophy & Neuroscience, Connecticut College, 2023

summa cum laude, Distinction in Philosophy, Distinction in Neuroscience

I am a first-year Ph.D. student primarily interested in philosophy of science and aesthetics. Despite my broad interest, some topics I like to think about recently are as follows:

- How models (in general) receive validation and how to balance face, construct, and predictive validity of animal models in behavioral neuroscientific research

- How aesthetic engagement with the environment can help us mitigate environmental crises

- How to define and understand creativity in the age of artificial intelligence

Outside of philosophy, I love spending time in nature, tasting wines, collecting pins, and Olympic weightlifting.
