Research Interests

My main philosophical interests lie in German Idealism, Kant's theoretical philosophy, the intersection between philosophy and empirical science and the philosophy of mind.  I also have a growing interest in Berkeley.  In my spare time, I love to read good literature and poetry (Turgenev and Rilke at the moment), keep up with current and international affairs, experiment with electronics, do some programming, and spend time with my family.
