I am a fifth year Ph.D. candidate working in philosophy of science. Specifically, I use contemporary research on dark matter in astrophysics and cosmology to try and make progress on several issues central to philosophy of science. These include issues of scientific realism, epistemic issues in modeling and computer simulations, experimentation, and theory choice. I think that using dark matter as a foil can show how to better think about many longstanding issues in these domains. https://sites.google.com/view/eugenevaynberg/about
