Professor Susan Sauvé Meyer's new book reviewed in Notre Dame Philosophical Reviews

Professor Susan Sauvé Meyer's new book, Laws 1 and 2, explores the first two books of Plato's last, 12 volume dialogue. Published in 2015 by Oxford University Press, the review in Notre Dame Philosophical Reviews notes that, "Readers will be most interested... in the commentary's treatment of the most philosophically robust passages in Laws I-II, and here Meyer does not disappoint. She consistently subjects Plato's arguments to the kind of careful and sophisticated analysis that brings out their basic coherence and plausibility, and she situates them helpfully against the broader Platonic and Greek backgrounds that make them most readily intelligible."
