The National Endowment for the Humanities announced today the award of a Collaborative Research Grant of $50,000 to Karen Detlefsen and Lisa Shapiro (Simon Fraser University) for the project New Narratives in the History of Philosophy: Women and Early Modern European Philosophy. The award will support  a conference, related to the New Narratives Project, to be held at Penn in Spring 2020 on the works of early modern women philosophers (1500 to 1850) in preparation for an edited volume of essays.
