Professor Anita Allen Elected to Eastern APA Vice Presidency

Following the recent APA elections, Anita Allen, Henry R. Silverman Professor of Law and Philosophy, was elected Vice President and President Elect of the Eastern Division of the American Philosophical Association. From the APA's blog, which lists the full results of the election, "[a]ll newly elected members will begin their terms on July 1 and... will serve three-year terms ending June 30, 2020. Divisional vice presidents serve a one-year term as vice president, followed by a one-year term as president, and finally a one-year term as past president." Allen is the first African American woman to hold the post in any Division of the Association.
