Title: Wrongful Discrimination: Neat or Messy Kind?

Abstract: Analytic philosophy is known for its love of order, and analytic discrimination theory is no exception. The goal of this talk is to problematize our discipline’s neat and tidy methodological tendencies and reveal new, messy theories for discrimination theorists to stake out and explore. Beyond discrimination theory specifically, the talk raises questions about what philosophers should demand of ethical theories and how to best practice analytic ethics.
