A Philosophy Minor requires six courses in philosophy. Students earn a minor by taking at least one course in three of the following areas:
- logic
- contemporary theoretical philosophy such as: metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, and logic
- value theory
- history of philosophy
At least two of the six courses must be 2000 or above. A course may simultaneously satisfy a level and a distribution requirement.
