The Department of Philosophy of the University of Pennsylvania seeks to appoint a tenure-track assistant professor beginning July 1, 2012.  AOS: Epistemology; AOC: Open.  Teaching load: four courses per year, ranging from introductory to graduate level, plus customary advising and service.  Applications must be submitted on-line at facultysearches.provost.upenn.edu/applicants/Central?quickFind=50947, and must include a letter of application, CV, writing sample, and email contact information for at least three recommenders, who will then be requested by the University of Pennsylvania to upload their recommendations.  Review of applications will begin November 1, 2011, and continue until the position is filled.  We expect to conduct interviews at the Eastern Division APA meeting in December.
